
Moscow can sometimes conjure up images of cold and snowy weather. So what better place for Lexus to introduce its newest all-wheel drive car. Next week, all the attention of the car fans will be on the Moscow International Auto Show, which will begin on August 26th. The latest manufacturer who announced the global debut of one of its cars is Lexus, who will launch its brand new LS460 AWD, a four-wheel-drive version of its well-known LS460.
The new vehicle will be powered by the same 4.6 liter V8 engine capable to deliver 380 hp but it will feature a new Torsen differential, which like the LS600h version, it distributes 60% of the power on the rear wheels while the other 40% is available on the front wheels. The car will be available from November, but no pricing has been confirmed.

For 2009, Buick LaCrosse receives some minor upgrades and new additional features. This should be the last year before Buick redesigns the car for the 2010 model year.
A V6 and a V8 are the powertrains used for the 2009 Buick LaCrosse lineup. LaCrosse CX and CXL models are propelled by the 3.8L V-6. This proven industry stalwart is rated at 200 hp and 230 lb.-ft of torque. The 3.8L features electronic throttle control to improve engine response and optimize fuel efficiency. Recent upgrades to the 3.8L also result in quiet operation.
LaCrosse Super models are powered by the robust 5.3L V-8 small-block. Rated at 300 hp and 323-lb.ft of torque, it enables LaCrosse Super to reach 60 mph from a dead stop in just 5.9 seconds. The 5.3L small-block V-8 uses GM’s Active Fuel Management, an engine technology that seamlessly switches between four and eight cylinders to save fuel.

Audi has lifted the veil on the 2009 A4. The new vehicle features a very big list with innovative technologies, an improved suspension, a new-generation MMI control system as well as cutting fuel consumption with over 15%.
The new design of the car consists in a new single-frame grill, bumpers, air vents and fog lights, new LED daytime running lights, a new gentle lip on the trunk, integrated chrome strip on the bumper, broad diffuser and straight exhaust pipes are part and partial of the revamped rear end”. Also, the car comes with 13 exterior colors to choose from, including five new ones.
Like most Audis, the interior of the car its clean and elegant, with new higher-resolution graphics for the instrument panels, with new materials like the Valcona leather available for the sport seats and integrated headrest system reduces the danger of whiplash.
Under the hood, the new Audi received engines like the 2.0 TFSI, a 125 kW (170 hp), two new 2.8-liter FSI engines: the 140 kW (190 hp) or the 162 kW (220 hp), 3.0 TFSI with 213 kW (290 hp) and the astonishing 4.2 FSI, a 257 kW (350 hp) V8 engine. Pricing starts at 34,200 Euros or $50,985 for the A6 2.0 TFSI sedan.

After few months of waiting for someone to give Jaguar’s newest cat a meaner growl, Arden, the British tuning company specialized in Jaguar cars, finally unveiled its customized AJ 21 based on the Jaguar XF. As you can see from the photos the new vehicle features a new body kit consisting in a completely re-designed front bumper with integrated daytime running LED’s in the Audi style, new side sills, a trunk spoiler and a re-designed rear spoiler with integrated exhaust system and rear air diffuser.
Under the hood, the 4.2 liter supercharged V8 engine was replaced by a much stronger 4.5-liter engine capable to develop 550 hp. The 2.7-liter V6 engine offers now 250 hp, with 43 hp more than the standard version. Also a new suspension was added in order to improve the stability of the car, together with new 21-inch alloy wheels. No words about the price yet.

For those who don’t know, DiMora Natalia SLS2 Supersedan represents the most luxurious car. Still under development, the car promises to be the most expensive car on the market, more expensive than a Bugatti Veyron. In order to sustain its price, the manufacturer announced that the car will be built using the most exclusive materials, one of them being the "Barotex inorganic fibre" made from volcanic rock.
According to Lilo Beuzieron, CEO of Barotex Technology Corporation, "Not only is lava rock more abundant, but our manufacturing process requires far less energy. It is friendly to the environment, and the automobiles built with Barotex are lighter, so they use less energy every mile traveled." So be ready, prepare your money and wait for the launch of this new sedan that is said to be powered by a 16-cylinder engine capable of developing an astonishing 1200 hp!

Last year’s redesign of the Ford Focus revived sales of the little car, so for 2009 Ford is looking to continue the rebirth of the Focus with a new coupe version. The hatchback’s replacement is now on sale at a starting price of $16,875.
The Coupe version will be powered by a 2.0-liter, Duratec 20 dual-overhead-cam (DOHC), and an inline 4-cylinder engine that delivers 143 horsepower when combined with a five-speed manual transmission and 140 horsepower when paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
Also available is a super-clean, 130-horsepower Duratec 20E engine that qualifies Focus as a Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) in California emissions states. The 20E’s tailpipe emissions are cleaner than some hybrid gas-electric vehicles’. The Duratec 20 and 20E in Focus Coupe are mated to a five-speed manual transmission and achieve EPA-estimated fuel economy of 35 mpg highway.

Finally, the 2009 Audi RS6 was unveiled! Featuring the 5.0 liter V10 engine, the new sports car from Audi promises to be a dreaded rival for its main competitors like Bmw and Mercedes-Benz. Capable to develop an astonishing 580 hp and 480 ft lbs of torque, the engine catapults the car from 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds while the top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph or, at customer’s request to 174.
The new Audi RS6 also has to be comfortable at speed, and to help accomplish this, the front axle features four lightweight aluminum control arms per wheel.
The German manufacturer also installed a new damping technology called Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) which reduces reduces pitch and roll using purely mechanical means. The vehicle features a new ESP system which offers driving fun without compromising safety, but it can also be entirely deactivated for uncompromised fun.
The 2009 Audi RS6 features 19 inch alloy wheels and comes with 390 millimeters brake disks on the front and 365 millimeters on the rear. Also 20 inch wheels are offered as an option as well as a ceramic brake system fitted with 420 millimeters brake disks in the front and 356 millimeters in the rear wheels.
The new model from Audi will be launched in mid-October and will be available for 105,550 euros (about $157,000.)

Inside Performance unveiled its latest customization package for the Bmw 3-Series sedan. The new kit consists in a carbon fiber front lips, carbon fiber front grilles and mirrors, new side sills, a roof spoiler, a new carbon fiber trunk spoiler and a carbon fiber rear air diffuser with integrated exhaust system.
In order to improve the stability, new M6 replica alloy wheels were added. Price of the kit is 2,000 euro (about $3,000).

Cadillac’s STS is the mid-sized car from the luxury carmaker positioned between the CTS and the DTS. The 2009 STS is available in V-6 and V-8 rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models. The ultra-luxury STS Platinum Edtion returns for 2009, along with the STS-V.
The lower front fascia features a distinctive intake and grille pattern evoking Cadillac’s V-Series high-performance models. Similarly, side air extractors, again inspired by the Sixteen concept and Escalade, are now incorporated into the front fenders of STS. New chrome-plated door handles and lower rocker moldings are added for more presence and refinement. At the rear, the new fascia is now body color and is highlighted with polished aluminum three-inch exhaust tips. New, polished 18-inch x 8-inch aluminum 14-spoke wheels are available.
Standard is a 3,6 liter V6 engine that delivers 302 hp at 6,300 rpm and 272 lb.-ft. at 5,200 rpm. A more powerful 4.6L Northstar V-8 is also available. It delivers 320 hp and 315 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated to a fuel-saving 6L50 six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission.

BMW revealed new official video of the 2009 7-Series that will make its world in October at the Paris Auto Show.
The 2009 7-Series will be powered by a V8 engine that delivers 407 hp between 5,500 and 6,400 rpm in the BMW 750i. For the BMW 740i, output of the six-cylinder Twin Turbo has been raised to 326 hp at 5,800 rpm. The newly developed six-cylinder diesel in the BMW 730d, in turn, develops maximum output of 245 hp at 4,000 rpm.
