Ford Fusion GT coming in 2010

SVT is working on a GT version for the Ford Fusion that will be released in 2009 or early 2010.

Like the Lincoln MKS, Ford Flex, and Lincoln MKR the Fusion GT will be powered by an EcoBoost gas direct-injection, turbo engine.

The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 will make about 340 hp. The Fusion GT will also be equipped with a Haldex part-time AWD differential.

SVT wants to make the Fusion GT the poor man’s Audi S4.
